Katerina Loura and Andreas Araouzos collaborate for the first time in a contemporary love story, a dramatic portrayal of a powerful relationship between a couple, written by the eminent and multi-award-winning playwright David Hare.

The playwright described his work, “Skylight” as romantic, but in the “correct sense of romance: a work about the boundless potential of people.”

It focuses on the differences between the couple but, at the same time, subtly reveals how and why they are drawn to each other.

Tom, a successful businessman.

Kyra, a math teacher at a poor school in underdeveloped East London.

They were lovers.

Three years after the death of his wife, they come together – but also face each other – in a fiery encounter in the icy setting of her apartment.

Translated and directed by Andreas Araouzos, this duo radically becomes a trio for three actors, as we will also see Tom’s son play his role.

In every couple, there is a catalyst somewhere.
